Container arrived
Today our container arrived at the house and everything was fine – nothing broken or damage. Customs even didn’t open the container. With the help of Troy and his guys it only was half an hour to unload everything. The house look great with some furniture in ๐

Hardwood flooring looks great!
After the gyproc was finished Troy painted the walls – we’ll start with a plain white and see later if we want to bring some colour to the house. Last week heย applied the hardwood flooring – the maple looks really great! I can’t await my next visit!
Containerday

Still no snow in Gegogan
Received some new picts from Melvin and Steffen today. He filled the area in front of the house so the ditch is gone finally and we can go by car to the beach ๐ Now we only need some nice weed and bushes, a new barbecue and the summer can come!

Yesterday our windows arrived – very good looking wooden windows from Norwood (…except of the main door and the golden hardware – but we will change that later ;-)). Wow – that looks great. Last week Troy and his team finished the walls and the roof. It was a real good decision to go for the silver metal roof – looks really good! Just 7 more days before I’ll fly to Canda – I’m really excited!!!
Next step
Booked my flight for the end of November today and received the next pictures from Troy today. I’m so curious and can’t await to fly over. This is too exciting!

Floor is finished
…but unfortunately we have to fly home. Everybody would love to stay for a couple of weeks and see the building process. I hope Troy will send new photos soon! The main excavation and landscaping is finished too – especially Doris’s brooke project ๐
